I'm Donna Hawkes. I'm an amateur watercolourist who started painting in my retirement.
I wanted to learn something new, and I loved the look of the watercolour medium. Trusting the water was the secret, and it became a passion. I have explored a variety of techniques and subjects. A great lover of Impressionism, I am aiming towards a looser version of my art as I continue to try to master this artistic skill.
Some of my paintings are framed and some are just on matted canvases. Others are just canvases. You can order a painting in any format, the price should reflect the finish of the final product.
All images are available in Outdoor "Duracore" Finish. It is weatherproof and should last outdoors for many years in accordance to its exposure to the elements.
